Victoria recorded the album in 2012, whilst living in up a mountain in the Caribbean rainforest. She flew her old school friend pianist Daniel Hill over, and they put down the Debussy Sonata, Martinu Variations on a Theme by Rossini, and a couple more of their favourite lollipops.

Victoria’s dog ate the pianist’s hat and the associate producer slept through the entire recording process, so it was a pretty successful few days, all in all!
